The second day of this Pelling and Gangtok holiday package commences with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and followed by sightseeing in Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake Head to the Tsomgo Lake that requires a 3-hour drive to reach and it is set at a height of 12,400 feet. It is a glacial lake and the reflection of the neighboring hills on the water is a sight for sore eyes. Baba Harbhajan Mandir Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Mandir. The views from 13,200 feet above where this temple is situated will leave you enthralled. It is dedicated to an Indian soldier who passed away by drowning in a nearby stream and it is believed that his soul still protects fellow military mates. A lot of people also bottle the water in the name of the ailing people and the water seems to heal them. You can also take a ride on colorfully ornamented yaks and ponies here. Optional Tour to Nathula Pass / Additional Charges / Special Permit If you wish, an optional tour to Nathula Pass can also be done at an additional cost payable on the spot.
